About us

The Blacksmiths was renovated in 2011, with the intention to recreate the image of the Inn on the outside as it was hundreds of years ago, while at the same time provide modern facilities with warm and inviting open spaces.

The interior is a blend of the old and new with traditional tables mixed in with more contemporary furnishings dotted around each room. The centrally placed log burning stove offers a warm and cosy atmosphere during the winter months, and the magnificently designed walled garden area at the rear of the Blacksmiths is a real sun trap where our customers can enjoy their drinks in the sunshine.

The Oak Room, on the first floor provides a light and airy private dining area where we can accommodate larger parties for those special occasions.

We offer a modest, but always interesting menu, which will change regularly to benefit from locally sourced seasonal produce.
