The facilities at the Blacksmiths

The Garden – Situated to the side of the Blacksmiths is a beautiful closed walled garden where you can enjoy the food and drinks in the fresh country air. With an outdoor BBQ area you can really make the most of the English Summer days and nights, it is a true delight and relaxing place to be.

Car Park – to the rear of the building is a large private car park giving plenty of room for off-road parking. We would prefer that all our customers use the car park where possible so that we can keep on the right side of our neighbours!  All customers are welcome to use the car park if dining or drinking in the Pub. However, we should advise that your vehicle is left at your own risk and not the responsibility of the Blacksmiths.

Children – Children are most welcome at the Blacksmiths but due to a miriad of laws and regulations we do unfortunately have to abide by certain rules. Children under the age of 14 are asked not to be in the bar area and must be accompanied by an adult. We hope you understand.

Smokers Den –  For all of those who like to smoke we have provided you with a luxury smoker’s den to the side of the garden. We would appreciate it if you were to use this space to smoke and refrain from smoking around the outside of the building.

Dogs – This has been a tough decision but with regret we have decided that dogs can not come into the Blacksmiths. However, well behaved dogs on leads are more than welcome in the garden area. We do ask you to remain sensitive to other dining customers who may not be so keen on the furry four legged friends.

Horses – For those who fancy a sneaky drink or food whilst out exercising your horses, there are rings on the wall in the car park to tether your horses whilst you do so. We would be most grateful if your horse has left us a present  that you scoop it up and add it to our vegetable garden – recycling at its very best!
